The Skin Merchant You stop to look this beast over. It is nothing like you've ever seen before. It bears pelts of many textures and colors. You take a step back, attempting to figure out what this beast could be. Suddenly, the animal whips around, startling you, and sending you flying backward. You open your eyes merely to see that it is a cat, just as you are. The cat is coated in the pelts of the many beasts she has slain. Feeling somewhat stupid, you lift yourself up and step toward her.
Stepping past the Skin Merchant, you stop at an odd looking cat. His thin body is twisted over something. You look over his shoulder, your curiousity growing. His paws are moving in an unheard of fashion. His claws are extended, and he seems to have grass wrapped around them. He turns his head, seeing you, and apologizing for not noticing you. You now see that he was weaving something out of grasses. Looking closer, you see it is a necklace, about an inch thick, excellently weaved out of grasses. Thinking of how nice a necklace would look on you, you ask this merchant about his wears.
You look at this merchant completely speechless. She has baskets weaved out of grasses, and, inside the baskets, sit small beasts. You crouch down to have a closer look, utterly stupified. You see a small mouse sitting inside the basket. You lick your lips, thinking of how nice his flesh would taste in your mouth. Suddenly, the small animal lashes out, nipping your on the nose. With a yowl, you scoot backwards, licking your sore nose. The merchant laughs at you, then states that the mouse is a tad bold. You tell yourself how that would've been nice to know beforehand.
